A beautiful and vibrant chausable set from the mid 18th century, comprised of the chausable, the maniple, the chalice cover, and mat. The deep, rich purple damask of the material is set off by the intricate embroidered orphrey on the chausable and maniple. Even the cover and mat, made of the same damask, have embroidered crosses on them, and are bordered with metallic thread. Overall condition is very good, with some scattered splits and stains.

The fully ribbed round funnel bowl on this glass elevates it above the ordinary into an elegant and striking wine glass. The double series opaque twist stem consists of a spiral band surrounding a single spiral tape. Rough snapped pontil. There has been a slight polish to a small section of the foot, probably to remove a nick, as it has not reduced the foot size at all.

5 1/4" tall, 2 1/8" bowl diameter, 2 1/2" foot diameter.

A fine and relatively early example of the popular Prunus Root pattern done by Worcester between 1752 and 1770.Hand painted in blue and white, with a workman's mark on the bottom.

The bowl is in excellent condition, with no cracks, restoration, or paint loss. 4 3/4" in diameter, and 2" in height.

An uncommon English firing dram glass with an ogee bowl, c 1765, made of lead metal. The stem is of the double series opaque twist type (DSOT) and is comprised of a pair of 6-ply spiral bands outside of a pair of spiral tapes. The terraced foot is highly desirable and sought after by collectors...

A beautiful and elegant Dr. Wall First Period Worcester tankard, or mug, painted with the "Walk in the Garden" pattern, showing a "Long Eliza" figure holding a basket and a ruyi sceptre, the boy at her side with a speared bird, and birds in the branches of a fine tree on the reverse. The inside of the footrim has a workman's mark which appears to be IH or JH.

The mug is of quite a goodly size, being 4 3/4" in height...

An attractive antique wine glass with a waisted bucket bowl above a single series air twist stem with a pair of spiral cables. The glass has a conical foot and is 6 1/4 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 5/16 inches and a foot diameter of 2 5/8 inches. There is a very small invisible fill under the foot.

A nicely proportioned waisted bucket bowl antique English Georgian air twist wine glass. The stem is a multiple-spiral air twist (MSAT) and the foot is conical and folded, with a snapped pontil

Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or restoration. Good color, striations, and tool marks. There is a very small piece of frit in the side of the bowl...

A striking antique English porcelain coffee cup. Made at the Worcester factory during the Dr. Wall, or First Period, it is painted with the Pu Tai pattern in beautiful, bright enamels. It shows Pu-Tai, also known as the Laughing Buddha, seated, with two attendants. The cup has a slightly everted rim, a handle of the grooved loop type, and the interior border is gilded in addition to the iron red enamel.

The cup is 2 3/8" tall, with a top diameter of 2 1/8"...

A Dr. Wall period Worcester rice spoon with the Maltese Cross pattern. Applied flower to handle. Crescent mark. Excellent condition except for a minuscule nick on the rim, as shown in the fourth picture. 5 1/4 inches in length.

A beautifully fashioned English antique firing dram glass. Most glasses of this type (opaque twist firing glasses) have an ogee or ovoid bowl, as opposed to this funnel, or conical, type. The lower half of the bowl is fluted, while the stem contains a double series opaque twist comprised of a pair of spiral threads outside of a central gauze.

Condition is excellent, with no problems at all. Good color, striations, and tooling...

A superb Dr. Wall First Period Worcester porcelain tea canister of oval and fluted "French" shape. This beautiful example is decorated below the neck with a border of deep blue edged with foliate gilding. the body divided into 3 sections by green columns enhanced with a dot design and edged with gilding. Each of the body sections having pendant floral sprays, with the bottom portion of the canister having a wide gilt-edged green border...

A beautiful Chelsea Porcelain Factory coffee cup and saucer in the highly uncommon and sought after spiral molded scolopendrium pattern form. Specifically, the cup has an iron-red undulating rim , and a spiral molded tapering body. The handle is of a notched scroll type with a raised central ridge, clearly influenced by Nicholas Sprimont (the first director of the Chelsea factory) and his prior experience as a silversmith...

A beautiful pair of antique wine glasses of the light baluster form. Although these are smaller than the usual form for a Newcastle light baluster, the proportion of the pointed round funnel bowls to the stems suggests that they are, in fact, an uncommon pair of NLB's. The bowls have engraved foliate borders, each stem with a shoulder knop, a medial angular knop, and a basal true baluster knop. Gently domed folded feet with rough snapped pontils...

It is highly uncommon for dram size glasses to have a domed foot, and this is a superb example. The ogee bowl is above a double series opaque twist (DSOT) stem consisting of spiral bands outside of central spiral tapes. Rough snapped pontil.

A lovely and rare Chaffers Liverpool porcelain miniature tea bowl, hand painted with three sprigs of flowers, the interior with a pair of leaves, the rim painted with a puce color. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. The enameling is vibrant with no loss. Apparent losses in some spots are due to lighting in the photos, and are not present in person. The height is 1" and the top diameter is 1 5/8".

A spectacular and huge English baluster goblet with a mushroom knop. The thistle-shaped bowl, with solid base, sits atop a short section over a wide (2 1/4 inches) mushroom knop with a tear extending into a basal ball knop above a folded foot.

This work of beautiful craftsmanship is distinguished by its rarity, mammoth size, and pristine condition. It stands 9 1/8" tall, has a bowl diameter of 4 1/4", a foot diameter of 4 3/8", and weighs an astonishing 1 pound 14 ounces...

A fine and unusual antique English drinking glass of Jacobite significance. The round funnel bowl is beautifully engraved with a rose, a bud to the right, a butterfly, and foliage. The stem is of the double series air twist type, quite uncommon because of the configuration of a pair of mercury corkscrews outside of a central cable...

A scent bottle, enameled and gilded by James Giles, the most famous and important English decorator of glass and porcelain in the 18th century.
