Some examples from the various singles, pairs, and sets of colored wine glasses we have. Many others in our inventory are in different colors, sizes and bowl shapes. Prices are per glass and depend on the specific items chosen.

A fine ale glass, engraved with hops and barley; funnel bowl; 5 1/2" tall, 2 7/8" foot diameter, 2 3/8" bowl diameter

An 18th century antique drinking glass, English lead, with a flared bell bowl, plain stem, rough snapped pontil, and folded foot. Simple, but with elegant form, this glass is 5 inches tall, 2 1/4 inch bowl diameter, 2 1/2 inch foot diameter. Excellent condition.

An English sweetmeat glass of exceptionally elegant form, the flared cup bowl with moulded flutes on an 8 sided teared Silesian stem with three basal collars above a domed moulded foot. 6 5/8 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 4 1/8 inches and a foot diameter of 3 1/3 inches. Perfect condition. Rough, snapped pontil.

A very similar glass with a less developed bowl (shown in the last picture), was exhibited at Delomosne and Son as part of the Seton Veitch Collection.

This is a wonderful early glass sugar bowl, in a deep cobalt blue color, from Scotland or Northern England. It is delightfully gilded with the saying "Be Canny with the Sugar". The rim is also gilded.

A fine pair of 18th century English wine glasses in a unusual deep bluish-green color, each with an ovoid bowl over a conical foot with a polished pontil. Each is 5" tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 5/8". Excellent condition with no chips, polishing, or other restoration.

A beautiful set of three emerald green roemers with cup bowls, applied prunts of the stem, and folded feet and polished pontils. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. The height of each is 4 7/16", with a bowl diameter of 2 1/2" and a foot diameter of 3".

A fine antique English hollow stem wine glass with a domed and folded foot. Dating around the middle of the 18th century, few glasses of this type were made.

This example has a very strong presence, with a goodly sized round funnel bowl. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. Good tool marks, color, and striations, and of substantial weight. The height, at 6 3/4", is also greater than is usually found, adding to the desirability. An uncommon and striking bowl in a deep Bristol blue color. The top rim is scalloped, the sides are step and panel cut, and the underside of the foot is radial cut. Excellent condition with a 5" bowl diameter and a 4" foot diameter.

A fine set of four wine glasses in the desirable emerald green color, of cup bowl form, each with a collar knop and a basal knop above a flattened knop. Lead glass, polished pontil.

No condition issues or restoration. 5 1/8" tall, with bowl diameters of 2 9/16" and foot diameters of 2 9/16".

A pair of antique English ale glasses of unusual form and color. Each with an elongated funnel bowl and medial knop, and a rough snapped pontil. The condition is excellent with no issues. The height is 6"

A superb English sweetmeat glass of elegant form, the flared double ogee bowl with moulded flutes leading into a moulded stem with a flattened shoulder knop and 5 basal collars above a spiral molded domed foot.

This fine example stands 6 1/8 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 3 3/4 inches and a foot diameter of 3 1/4 inches. Perfect condition with wonderful color and tooling marks. Rough, snapped pontil.

A fine sweetmeat with a double ogee bowl with a slightly everted rim. The bowl is atop a bladed knop, below which is a hollow 8 sided molded pedestal stem. At the bottom of the stem are 4 merises above a nicely domed and folded foot.

The glass is in overall excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration. There is a small (1/4" by 1/8") manufacturing flaw in the side of the bowl, shown in extreme closeup in the 4th photo. The flaw can be seen and felt on both sides, but in not broken...

A rare and interesting anti Jacobite Irish glass with a funnel bowl and straight stem.

The bowl is engraved "Inny Cavalry", referring to a cavalry regiment in the British Army, first raised in 1689 (and later fighting against the Jacobites) in the town of Enniskillen as Sir Albert Cunningham's Regiment of Dragoons. One of the regiment's most notable battles was the Battle of the Boyne in July 1690. It became the 6th (Inniskilling) Regiment of Dragoons in 1751. The regiment also fought with di...

A beautiful 18th century glass sweetmeat with a dentated (cogwheel) rim (21 teeth) on a double ogee bowl above a multiple spiral opaque twist stem with a shoulder inverted baluster knop. The foot is radially rib molded with a rough, snapped pontil.

Condition is excellent with good tooling marks and color. The height is 3 3/8 " with a bowl diameter of 4 inches and a foot diameter of 2 1/2".

A beautiful decanter set composed of 3 barrel shaped decanters, each heavily cut and retaining the original target stoppers. The stand is electroplate silver and of elegantly molded trefoil form, with rings to hold the stoppers.

Both the stand and decanters are in excellent condition, the glass without chips, etc., and the stand with little to no bleeding. The height is 10" and the width is 9".

A graceful stepped strap-handled pitcher of lead glass, featuring trailed threading at the rim, and engraved "RFE" with vines above ribbons, the reverse with flowering vines.

The condition is excellent, with no flaws to speak of. Good color and tooling. Snapped rough pontil. The height is 7 1/4".

Exceptional in so many ways, including its age, its baluster form, its height of 8 1/4", and its beautiful deep cobalt blue color

A pale vaseline glass miniature or crocus vase on a stemmed base; 4 1/2" tall

A stunning 18th century English champagne or sweetmeat glass having a double ogee bowl with an everted lip above a single merise. The 8 sided Silesian (molded) stem surmounts a basal collar above a domed foot. A superb and flawless example.

An elegant and superbly proportioned antique English toasting wine glass with a a drawn flared trumpet bowl atop a plain stem and conical foot; rough pontil. A beautiful and graceful glass, and quite uncommon in lead, as this one is.

6 3/4" tall, 2 7/8" bowl diameter, 3" foot diameter

A wonderful molded pedestal glass with an unusually large pointed round funnel bowl above a crisp 6 sided hollow Silesian stem; folded foot. 6 1/4" tall, 2 3/4" bowl diameter, 2.8" foot diameter

Although the glass is soda, the lead-like ring to it, combined with its extremely high overall quality strongly indicates a Tyneside (N. England) origin.

An extremely large and beautifully made drinking vessel, or loving cup; gadrooned bowl, applied trailing to rim, applied medial ring; blade-knopped stem over conical foot with rough pontil.

7 1/4" tall, 4 3/4" bowl diameter, 3 3/4" foot diameter, 8" across handles

A beautifully executed English lead wine glass with a round funnel bowl engraved and polished with a butterfly, grapes, and vines. A straight hollow stem leads to a domed and folded foot with a rough pontil. An almost identical example is shown in Plate 78g of Haynes.

6 5/8" tall, 2 1/4" bowl diameter, 2 3/4" foot diameter

A rare and beautifully proportioned engraved composite plain stem/air twist drinking glass. The bell bowl, superbly engraved with scrolling flowers and vines, is above a short plain stem section leading into a multiple-spiral air twist, surmounted by an inverted baluster knop; conical foot with rough snapped pontil.

6 7/16" tall, 2 5/8" bowl diameter, 2 3/4" foot diameter.

An elegant and beautiful lead Jacobite toasting glass engraved by "Engraver B" in Seddon's book. The drawn trumpet bowl has a 6 petal rose, an open rose bud to its left, and a closed rose bud to its right.

Over the years there have been various interpretations of these symbols, and even now it can be argued that the rose represents either the Crown of England or James, the Old Pretender. The open bud can represent The Old Pretender, or Prince Charles, or Prince Henry, while the closed bud can...

It is very unusual to find a true set of 18th century lead glass English roehmers, even in the green color which is the most common. To find this deep and beautiful amethyst color set was truly exceptional.

The glasses have large cup bowls on hollow blown stems with applied raspberry prunts, and collars on the upper portion of the stems. The conical feet have applied trailings, and rough snapped pontils.

A nicely formed dwarf ale glass with flammiform molding above the spiral fluted, or wrythen, concical bowl; small spiral molded knop; conical foot with rough, snapped pontil; 4 7/8" tall, 2 1/4" bowl diameter, 2 3/8" foot diameter

A beautiful and uncommonly small 18th century glass mug, English, possibly a wine mug. Applied trailing at the top and center, with an applied grooved handle. Finely engraved with the name "Clarence Arthur." Polished pontil.

An antique wine glass of lead composition. This drinking glass has a drawn trumpet bowl and a stem with a trapped tear. The bowl has diamond point engraving with the names Harlord Wright and Frances Chat, followed by the Latin saying flammae felices quas mutuus exitat ardor. Loosely translated, this means How fortunate are those for whom the flames of love burn without change, a charming sentiment for what is a marriage or anniversary glass. An 18th century antique wine glass, English lead, with a flared bell bowl, plain stem, rough snapped pontil, and folded foot. Simple, but with elegant form, this glass is 6 5/16 inches tall, 2 15/16 inch bowl diameter, 3 1/8 inch foot diameter.
