A superb example of a Dr. Wall First Period mustard pot printed with the "Fence" pattern. The cover has a flower finial with molded leaves. The height of the pot is 3 7/8" (plus the lid) and the diameter is 2 1/2".

Not much needs to be said about this piece, other than the condition is truly excellent, with no chips, cracks, paint loss, or restoration. The type mustard spoon that would be used in this pot is shown as item p1124 in this category...

A beautiful and elegant Dr. Wall First Period Worcester tankard, or mug, painted with the "Walk in the Garden" pattern, showing a "Long Eliza" figure holding a basket and a ruyi sceptre, the boy at her side with a speared bird, and birds in the branches of a fine tree on the reverse. The inside of the footrim has a workman's mark which appears to be IH or JH.

The mug is of quite a goodly size, being 4 3/4" in height...

Superb antique English porcelain plates from the Worcester Flight, Barr and Barr factory. Placed on a gilded "seaweed" background, the central roundels depict exotic birds, beautifully painted by Charles Stinton, a well-known and highly acclaimed painter of birds.

One of the plates has the impressed crown and FBB mark, and the other has that mark and the red printed mark. Condition is mint, with no flaws of any kind, including all the gilding. The diameter of each plate is 8 3/4".

A beautiful French embroidered brocaded and woven textile piece, composed of 4 segments sewn together, edged with an attached border of metallic threaded textile, and backed with yellow silk.

Overall condition is excellent, with vibrant colors and no holes or repairs. The overall size is 43 1/2" by 36".

A spectacular calligraphic work by E. Bambeck, signed and dated as part of the painting. Using pastels, watercolors, and pen and ink, he has limned a pair of very lifelike parakeets on white branches against a stark black background. The details and artistry that has gone into this work is truly of the highest order.

The condition is excellent, with no smudges, tears, toning or other problems. The bright white blobs in the center of some of the photos are reflections of lamps...

An unusual and attractive pair of tall mirrors, each reverse painted with a basket of flowers suspended from a green and gold tassel, further decorated with swags of bellflowers suspended from green and gold ribbons. Encased in original carved mahogany frames with original wood backboards .

Excellent condition with no issues. The sight size of each is 23 1/2" by 11 3/8" and the overall size of each is 34" by 22".

An extremely fine antique English porcelain coffee can, of flared form, made by the Chamberlain Worcester factory. The cup features a beautiful bouquet of flowers and stunning gilding on the borders, the entire interior, and the entire handle. It is fully marked with painted red script on the bottom. The handle is quite unusual and uncommon, not even appearing in Geoffrey Godden's book on Chamberlain Worcester...

A fine and unusual antique English drinking glass of Jacobite significance. The round funnel bowl is beautifully engraved with a rose, a bud to the right, a butterfly, and foliage. The stem is of the double series air twist type, quite uncommon because of the configuration of a pair of mercury corkscrews outside of a central cable. Conical foot with a rough snapped pontil. Lead metal with good color, striations, and tooling marks...

A wonderful Dr. Wall First Period antique English porcelain ovoid vase, painted in the Mandarin style with Chinese figures in interior scenes, within wide red and gilt borders. The pattern is called "The Telephone Box" when appearing on blue and white wares, where it is considerably more common...

A beautifully painted and gilded English jug, probably Minton, of large size. Done in shades of blue, greens, and reds, it depicts a large lotus tree on one side, and foliage and flowers throughout. The main items in the painting are outlined with gilding, which is also prominent of the handle and spout.

Condition is superb, looking factory fresh, with no cracks, chips, restoration, or paint or gilding loss. There is a pattern number on the bottom...

A charming and early Derby diminutive basket form sweetmeat, with delightful floral painting by the Cotton Stem Painter. This form, which is uncommon in blue and white, is almost unheard of in polychrome, with virtually no examples having been offered at auction in the last 10 years. An example is shown as illustration 44 in Gillespy's book on Derby Porcelain.

In overall very good condition, with a very old repair to one of the handles...

A fine and relatively early example of the popular Prunus Root pattern done by Worcester between 1752 and 1770.Hand painted in blue and white, with a workman's mark on the bottom.

The bowl is in excellent condition, with no cracks, restoration, or paint loss. 4 3/4" in diameter, and 2" in height.

A large Saxon (German) hunting glass with a thistle bowl, beautifully engraved with a castle, a mounted horseman, 4 dogs, and two geese and with a facet cut lower section. The stem is facet cut with a large facet cut stepped angular knop. Folded foot.

Despite what it might seem in the poor photos, the glass is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, clouding, or restoration. The height is 8 1/4", with a bowl diameter of 3 1/8" and a foot diameter of 3 5/8".

An extremely rare and early Worcester bowl, c 1752-3, with an elaborate landscape painted in the Chinese style...

An elegant form Chaffers Liverpool porcelain coffee can, decorated with a landscape scene, the interior rim bordered.

The can is 2 9/16" in height, and 2 3/16" in diameter. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration, although the painting is blurred, but not to the extent shown in the photos.

A beautiful and finely painted Chelsea dish of interesting shape, displaying butterflies, fruit, and foliage. The molded rim is decorated with puce and green. The reverse has a puce anchor mark.

The dish is 10 1/2" in length and 7 1/2" at its widest. Superb condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration. The paint is crisp and vibrant, without losses.

A fine Lowestoft patty pan, of the large size, painted in blue and white, the interior with a large central moth or butterfly, and floral sprigs. The exterior with flower sprigs. Crisp painting, and excellent condition with no issues. The diameter is 4 1/8", and the depth is 1 3/8". Painter's mark #3 on the base. Ex Kleinman collection.

The group of small porcelain items known as "toys" is composed of scent bottles, bonbonnieres, etuis, and seals. These were produced from the early years of Chelsea through to the Chelsea-Derby period. (The most comprehensive work on these items is "The Chelsea Porcelain Toys", by G.E. Bryant, published in 1925.)
