A truly spectacular example of early Roman glass, being a sea-green bowl of shallow rounded form with a smooth edge and 28 exterior pronounced ribs converging at the bottom. A wheel cut triple band circles the lower flattened section of the bowl.

The diameter at the top rim is 6 1/8", and the height is 1 3/8". The condition of the bowl is superb, with no chips, cracks, or restoration and displaying a wonderful iridescence...

A beautiful Spode porcelain plate painted with a variety of motifs. The pattern number is not listed in any of the Spode pattern books, nor have I been able to find examples of the decoration. A reasonable assumption might be that this was produced as a "one-off" sample for a larger service that was not completed.

The decoration on the plate includes an exotic bird, shells and feathers, and fruits, an interesting combination to say the least...

A fine set of 4 watercolor schoolgirl paintings executed with a very high degree of artistry, probably originally done as bookplates. They have been mounted in pairs in attractive figured maple frames. The first frame has the paintings shown in the 2nd and 3rd photos and the 2nd frame has the paintings shown in the 4th and 5th photos.

The paintings and frames are in excellent condition, with the first frame, shown in the top left of the first photo, measuring 12 5/8" by 10 3/4"...

A beautiful Flight Barr and Barr large sauce tureen from the Harlequin service. Two sides of the tureen have an exotic bird painted, by Henry Stinton, in a central reserve which is surrounded by a white field edged with gilded rococo scrollwork. The remainder of the body is a sky blue decorated with insects...

A beautiful Flight, Barr and Barr Worcester plate from the desirable "Harlequin" service. The decoration features an exotic bird painted by Henry Stinton in a central reserve which is surrounded by a white field edged with gilded rococo scrollwork extending into the cavetto. The wide rim of the plate is in a pale blue decorated with multicolored butterflies and insects.

The reverse of the plate has the elaborate red mark which was used specifically during the 1813 to 1819 period...

An early pale yellow-green mold blown bottle of mallet shape. The conical neck with two narrow rings at the top and a knop-like bulge at the bottom. At the shoulder of the bottle is a molded brown tinted circle. The bottle body is decorated with three raised circular reserves, each with a flower within, and surrounded by radiating leaves.

This very rare bottle has survived its long burial without damage...

A delicately potted and painted Vauxhall porcelain tea bowl with an outcurving lip, and depicting rockwork, trees, and an oriental pavilion. The interior with 3 dots and the bottom with a label from the Marie Evans collection.

The diameter is 2 7/8" and the height is 1 5/8". Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, restoration, or paint loss. Please note that any dark lines in the photos are shadows from the display stand.

A rare pale green Dutch or German roemer with a large cup bowl above a wide hollow stem flaring out to a folded foot. Immediately beneath the bowl is an applied milled collar above a section with applied strawberry prunts, below which is another collar.

This huge example is 8" tall, with a bowl diameter of 5" and a foot diameter of 4 1/2"...

A beautiful Chelsea finger bowl of bellied form, the rim with a brownish-red line, and the body and interior painted with various flowers. Red anchor mark.

This wonderful example of an uncommon form is in excellent condition, with no flaws or issues to speak of. 3" in height, 3 3/4" maximum diameter.

A fine Dutch dark green glass globular wine bottle from the second half of the 17th century, with the applied seal depicting the arms of Amsterdam. Of goodly size with a height of 8 3/8" and a diameter of approximately 5 1/2". The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. Normal expected wear. It is very uncommon to find an early bottle with the seal totally intact.

A fine and early Bow porcelain Blanc de Chine thinly potted chocolate or coffee cup with raised prunus blossoms.

Excellent condition with no cracks, losses or restoration. Compared to the usual height of Bow coffee cups of this form and period, which is approximately 2 9/16", the example offered here is 5/8" taller, at 3 3/16". The bowl diameter is 3". A superb and rare piece.

A large 4 sided jar in sea-green glass, having a wide ridged strap handle and folded lip. The base is decorated with a segmented circle in the center of which is another circle. Smaller circles are at each corner of the base. This is NOT a reproduction, but an original period piece.

The jar is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or repairs. It is 9 1/2" tall, and 3 1/4" on each side of the square base.

Formerly owned by Ingrid Bergman and Alan Freed, this is a large and exceptional fine American tinsel or foil painting featuring a full wreath encircling an urn of flowers on a green base. Although the use of a wreath in a tinsel painting is not at all uncommon, this particular format is extremely rare, if not unique. The flowers are so densely packed as to make the execution of the painting quite difficult...

An uncommon in-period Kangxi scalloped plate with a Long Eliza figure and a Jumping Boy figure in the central scene. This is actually an indoor/outdoor scene since, to the right of the woman is a window giving a partial view into the house...

A charming in-period Kangxi octagonal saucer with 5 figures of women, each playing a different musical instrument. Fully marked on the reverse, with foliage outside the double line encircling the marks.

Bright, vibrant colors and glaze, with no condition problems at all. The diameter is 5 1/2".
