This beautiful purse, with a single large figure, measures 8 1/4" wide, and 9 3/4" long, plus another 2" for the wonderful 4 color twisted loop fringe.
It features a gentleman in colonial garb, holding a tri-corn hat in one hand and a staff in the other. He is standing on a path which leads to a cottage, surrounded by trees, and highlighted by a red roof, in the background. The setting is evening, with a deep royal blue sky dotted with stars
The tiny beads used in this purse range in color from 4 shades of greens, through golds, reds, pinks, yellow, lavender, and blue. The jeweled frame beautifully complements the purse, with both cabachon and facet cut pastes in amethyst, green, blue. and red. Even the color of the frame itself nicely matches the taupe beads surrounding the central medallion.
Condition is excellent, with no holes, missing beads, or fringe problems. The deep gray silk lining is also in fine shape, with no rips or fabric deterioration
