A beautiful and elegant antique English cordial glass of nice stature. The fluted round funnel bowl surmounts a rare stem configuration of a double series air twist (DSAT) comprised of a 6 ply spiral band outside of a central pair of mercury spirals. Plain conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil. The glass is 7 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 inches and a foot diameter of 2 15/16 inches. The condition is superb, with no chips, cracks, or restoration, and the glass displays fine color, tool marks, and striations. |
