A superb and large Bohemian milchglas, or milk glass, large mug or tankard. This wonderful example features a central polychrome enameled scene of a castle in a reserve surrounded by flowers and leaves, the whole flanked with further large bouquets of flowers. This drinking vessel is 6 1/8 inches tall, with a diameter at the bottom of 4 1/2 inches, and a rim diameter of 3 7/8 inches. The condition is superb, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, restoration, or enamel loss. |
