An elegant and very unusual wine glass with a double shoulder collar and a single basal collar. This form is accepted as being Scottish, rather than English, making it rarer. The funnel bowl has leaves and acorns engraved around the rim, the stem with a pair of spiral threads around a lace twists. 5 1/4 inches tall, bowl and foot diameter of 2 1/4 inches. Rough, snapped pontil. No damage, polishing, or restoration. |
