| A wonderful stepped top tea caddy in a deep, rich color, set with silver stringing, ivory escutcheon, ball feet and knobs, and a working key. It dates from around 1825, and is 6 1/2" tall, 6 1/2" wide, and 4" deep. The condition is superb, with no cracks, veneer loss or repairs. The deep green velvet lining to the inside of the lid might be a replacement, as is the metal lining the interiors of the compartments, both of these being of totally negligible import. | ||
