A well painted miniature painting, done in watercolor on organic wafer. The sitter is a nice looking gent with blue eyes and brown hair, dressed in a black coat, white shirt and vest, and a black ascot.
A well painted miniature painting, done in watercolor on organic wafer. The sitter is a nice looking gent with blue eyes and brown hair, dressed in a black coat, white shirt and vest, and a black ascot.
The painting is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, bowing, or restoration. The brown line on the jacket in the lower right quadrant is a reflection, and is not present in person. The scattered white flecks are just dust motes and also not present when viewing in person. The sight size of the miniature is 2 1/2" by 2", while the cast foliate frame measures 2 7/8" by 2 3/8".
