A fine burl wood snuff box, the top inset with a painted scene on paper. The scene, which has very fine detailing, shows a tower, a house, and various figures, and is covered with glass and has a brass surround. The box is 3" in diameter, 5/8" thick, and is in excellent condition with no issues.

A simple but elegant brandy warmer with beaded lid and base rims, the thumb rest on the lid molded as a scallop shell, the angled handle of aged wood with a nice patina. The piece is 3 3/8" tall, and 2 7/8" wide, 5 1/8" wide including the handle. Excellent condition.

A Chinese export dinner plate, c 1750, of what is termed Nanking type. The plate was made during the first 15 years of the Qianlong period (1736-1795) of the Qing dynasty. A wonderful stepped top tea caddy in a deep, rich color, set with silver stringing, ivory escutcheon, ball feet and knobs, and a working key. It dates from around 1825, and is 6 1/2" tall, 6 1/2" wide, and 4" deep. The condition is superb, with no cracks, veneer loss or repairs. The deep green velvet lining to the inside of the lid might be a replacement, as is the metal lining the interiors of the compartments, both of these being of totally negligible import.
