The scene, which has very fine detailing, shows a tower, a house, and various figures, and is covered with glass and has a brass surround. The box is 3" in diameter, 5/8" thick, and is in excellent condition with no issues.

It dates from around 1825, and is 6 1/2" tall, 6 1/2" wide, and 4" deep. The condition is superb, with no cracks, veneer loss or repairs. The deep green velvet lining to the inside of the lid might be a replacement, as is the metal lining the interiors of the compartments, both of these being of totally negligible import.
