An extremely fine NLB Newcastle light baluster wine glass with superb engraving of two clasped hands. Jacob Sang often used such a motif and the engraving is definitely of Sang quality, though, being unsigned, it is impossible to definitely attribute it to him. The pointed round funnel bowl sits atop a stem with a shoulder knop and a tear-filled medial inverted baluster knop. A wonderful English lead metal gadrooned ale glass dating from the late 17th century. It has a flared round funnel bowl, and teared shoulder and basal knops above a folded foot. Of a lovely dark metal with superb striations and tooling marks, this glass stands 5 1/2 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 7/16 inches and a foot diameter of 2 3/4 inches. Perfect condition.

A large and wonderfully proportioned heavy baluster goblet with a solid base conical bowl. The stem has a wide angular knop and a basal knop, each with an air tear which also extends between the two knops. Conical folded foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

Superb condition with great color, striations, and tooling marks. 7 11/16 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 3 13/16 inches and a foot diameter of 3 5/8 inches.

A tall and elegant toasting glass with a drawn trumpet bowl leading into a stem with a multiple-spiral air twist. A nice gray metal, good striations, and tooling marks, with two small inclusions in the bowl. Rough, snapped pontil. Excellent condition with no chips or restoration.

An elegant and very unusual wine glass with a double shoulder collar and a single basal collar. This form is accepted as being Scottish, rather than English, making it rarer. The funnel bowl has leaves and acorns engraved around the rim, the stem with a pair of spiral threads around a lace twists.

5 1/4 inches tall, bowl and foot diameter of 2 1/4 inches. Rough, snapped pontil. No damage, polishing, or restoration.

A beautifully formed double series opaque twist (DSOT) firing glass of dram size. The ogee bowl with basal fluting surmounts a stem containing 4 spiral threads outside of an inner gauze. The extremely thick foot has a crescent shaped bubble in it which is totally internal and does not break the top or bottom surface.
