An absolutely wonderful and highly amusing engraved baluster glass, actually a goblet, of soda metal. A charming 18th century wine cordial glass with a small slightly flared trumpet bowl engraved with leaves and buds. Plain stem with an elongated tear above a conical folded foot. The glass has no damage or repairs, but the foot is slightly uneven and a tad bit wobbly, which does not interfere with the appearance and is of very minor consequence. A distinguished and commanding 7 inches in height, with a 2 1/8 inch diameter bowl and 2 7/8 inch diameter foot.
A lovely balustroid drinking glass with a flared bell bowl on a stem with an inverted baluster knop with enclosed tear. All this above a cushion basal knop surmounting a beaded knop above a domed and folded foot. Note that balustroids with teared knops are sometimes attributed to Newcastle glass houses. The bowl has a small black slag seed.

This is a finely done miniature painting on ivory of a very attractive young woman. The artist has taken great pains with all the details. His depiction of her braided and sausage-curled hair, her earrings, necklace (every link was done individually), and pendant, the lacework, and even the stitching work on her dress, to say nothing of her facial features, bespeaks a talented hand.
