A beautiful and elegant antique English cordial glass of nice stature. The fluted round funnel bowl surmounts a rare stem configuration of a double series air twist (DSAT) comprised of a 6 ply spiral band outside of a central pair of mercury spirals. Plain conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

A beautiful green English balustroid wine glass with a hollow stem. The cup bowl is over a shoulder cylinder knop which sits atop an egg knop. The stem is finished off with a true baluster knop above a high domed foot.

A simple but elegant brandy warmer with beaded lid and base rims, the thumb rest on the lid molded as a scallop shell, the angled handle of aged wood with a nice patina.

A fine and beautiful balustroid type ale or large wine glass, of lead metal. The pointed round funnel bowl, which has close wrythening, flares slightly, making it almost a bell bowl, and sits atop a stem with a wrythened flattened shoulder knop and a wrythened basal knop. The stem also has close wrythening. Such a stem is often referred to as rib-twisted.

A very fine and quite uncommon Sheffield plate punch strainer. The rim has three hallmarks on the underside, one of which identifies this as being made in Birmingham.

Condition is quite good, with no structural damage, but the strainer portion itself does have wear on both sides, a highly common situation with Sheffield. The piece is 10 1/2 inches long, with the bowl diameter being 4 3/8 inches.

A glass fruit tazza made by the Buckingham Glass Company around 1665.

DISCOVERY: This jewel is one of the earliest surviving examples of English fine glass tableware, and pre-dates Ravenscroft pieces by about 10 to 15 years. Discovered, with 8 similar tazzas, at Wentworth Woodhouse in 1948, by E.
